摘要:
本文介绍了田纳西大学的能量转换试验装置(Energy Conversion Facility,简称ECF)的主要系统和部件。该装置采用污染式空气预热器和60°CW磁流体发电机,燃烧室的热输入为12—15兆瓦,全部灰渣通过发电机。文章给出了在1980~1981年期间所进行的TP40B系列试验的结果,其中包括燃烧室的性能、通道气体动力学、通道热流分布、电性能和功率取出方式等方面的试验结果。此外,还介绍了一种间接测量通道进口燃气温度的方法。
Abstract:
The test effort at the University of Tennessee Space lnstitute (UTSI) has included direct coal fired MHD generation test since 1971. This paper introduces major system and components of Energy Conversion Facility at UTSI. An vitiation preheater and 60° DCW MHD generator are used at ECF. The thermal input of the combustor is 12-15 MW. Full slag passes through the MHD channel. Results of the TP4OB test series conducted in 1980-1981 at ECF are described in the paper, including the performance of the combustor, gasdynamics characteristics of the generator, thermal flux distribution, electrical performance and power teke-off scheme etc. In addition, it gives a indirect measurement for the gas temperature at the inlet of generator.
