Abstract:
Based on the theory of finite element method of one dimensional strai- ght element,the stiffness matrix and the equivalent load vector of cable ele- ment,in which the prestress and the change in temperature are considered, are presented and the computer program of nonlinear static analysis of cable structure with displacement method is described in this paper under the assum- ption of elastic behavior and small strain of cable element.The use of the program shows its high calculation accuracy and wide applicability.
