Abstract:
This paper presents a computer aided process planning system—NITCAP for lens tubes of film projectors.The system is based on the group technology and structured with modules.According to the GT cording number of a new workpart,the system retrieves the standard process plan established and sto- red in computer files for the part family which the workpart belongs to. Through re-editing the existing process plan,a new plan for a new workpart is generated.
