摘要:
本文利用激光速率方程与电磁场模迭加理论,建立了光纤行波放大器中泵浦光与信号光相互作用方程组,通过光波导理论中归一化功率分布函数与光场归一化光子密度分布函数间的等效关系,导出了光纤放大器中信号光第i个模式光子密度变化的微分方程。结合两种典型结构进行了数值计算,获得了光纤放大器增益与泵信光功率此、互作用区长度及光纤特征参数间的一系列关系曲线。
Abstract:
Making use of the laser rate equations and the formalism of mode overlap in the electromagnetic theory, the authors set up the equations describing the interaction between pump and signal light in an optical fiber TW amplifier. The differential equation which governs the evolution of the density of the signal photon in the ith mode has been derived by means of the equivalent relation in optical waveguide between the normalized mode power density and the photon distribution functions. Calculations have been carried out for two typical forms of optical fiber TW amplifiers, and the variations of the gain with the ratio of pump to signal light power, the interaction length and various fiber parameters are given.
