Abstract:
Based on the existing cases of urban water supply system in domestic cities, this paper discusses the problem of optimal controlling (or scheduling) for pumping station so as to reduce the power consumption. An optimizing model with discrete controlling vectors is proposod and an optimizing scheme is given. In this scheme, the traditional single direction searching is replaced by the searching among a direction range, the step length is determined practically, and the constraints are dealt through the ε-active direction. The whole scheme is divided into two levels so as to accelerate converging. The simulation of an example shows that the computing time is less than five min and the optimality error (or suboptimality) less than 1％.
