Abstract:
Based on the mathematical model on the positional features of the digit terrain condition, this paper extends the Baarda’s reliability theory to assess the reliability of graph data in GIS database. The paper derives the reliability formulas according to three basic digit drawing features of the corresponding point, line and curve, obtains the triangle and trapezoid images of the reliability distribution. Through the analyses of some road layer’s data in GIS spatial database of one city, the paper illustrates the concrete methods about how the achievement is used in application.
