摘要:
当前计算机网络难题可以分成服务提供、资源控制和用户管理三种类型,这些难题主要是源于传统网络体系结构的制约.本文分析了传统的因特网体系结构的限制,评价了主动网体系结构和电信信息联网体系结构(TINA)解决现有网络难题的能力,为了解决这些网络难题,必须发展传统因特网体系结构.虽然主动网和TINA网络体系结构并不完整,但是它们提出了2种具有代表性的网络体系结构解决方案.本文提出了一种更加完整的解决方案的研究思路,即构造一个具有服务定制、资源控制和用户管理能力的、基于构件的高性能网络体系结构.
Abstract:
By exploring the root of current computer network problems in the view of network architecture, this paper argues that all of current problems in computer networks can be classified into three types: service provision, resource control and user management, and all of them result from the limitation of the traditional network architecture. It analyzes the limitation of traditional Internet architecture, evaluates the power of Active Network and Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture (TINA) in solving these network problems. It concludes that traditional Internet architecture should be evolved to solve these problems. Active Network and TINA are representative resolutions in the view of network architecture although both of them are not very complete. At last, we propose a research direction of more complete resolution, that is, constructing a component-based high performance network architecture with abilities of service customization, resource control and user management.
