摘要:
分析了常白型扭曲向列相液晶显示器(NW-TN-LCD)本征视角狭小和视角不均的原因.阐述了利用相匹配补偿膜展宽NW-TN-LCD视角范围的机理和方法,并用该补偿机理研制出试验盒.实验结果表明相匹配负性双折射补偿膜能有效地改善NW-TN-LCD的视角特性,并证明双膜补偿夹心结构是最佳结构.
Abstract:
The reason that Normally White-twisted Nematic-liquid Crystal Display (NW-TN-LCD) has inherent narrow and non-uniform viewing angle characteristics is analysed in this paper.The principle of phase-matched compensation to wide viewing angle range of NW-TN-LCD is revealed.The test cell is developed by using this principle.The experiment results confirm that the Negative-birefringence film compensation is very effective way to improve the viewing angle performance of NW-TN-LCDs and the configuration with sandwiched two negative-birefringence phase -matched films is proved to be optimum structure of NW-TN-LCDs.
