摘要:
充分考虑了太赫兹光非对称解复用器(TOAD)中半导体光放大器(SOA)的增益饱和与恢复的影响,深入分析研究了小信号增益及环时间非对称性对TOAD开关特性的影响.结果表明:小信号增益对开关窗口的形状影响显著,但对宽度影响很小; 在环中点附近的某一定范围内,TOAD解复用输出随环时间非对称性的变化而急剧变化,严重影响TOAD的输出性能.
Abstract:
The influences of the small signal gain and loop’s time asymmetry on the switching characteristics of TOAD are studied in detail considering thoroughly the effects of the gain saturation and recovery of the semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) in a terahertz optical asymmetric demultiplexer (TOAD). It is shown that the small signal gain affect significantly the shape of the switching window, but has small effect on the width. The demultiplexing output varies dramatically with respect to the loop’s time asymmetry in a small range around the midpoint of the loop. So the small signal gain affects the performances of TOAD seriously.
