Abstract:
This paper analyses the seismic behavior of the masonry shearwall with reinforced frame and that with opening. The formula of normal cross section bending resistance bearing capacity based on the assumption of plane deformation of the cross section, and the formula of oblique section shear bearing capacity according to its composition and deformation are suggested. Compared with test results , these formulae are feasible.
