Abstract:
A seismic simulation method for sliding structure based on SIMULINK environment is proposed. The dynamic equation of sliding layer is presented. The shearing-type Multi-Degree-Freedom(MDOF)model in series system for the sliding building is analyzed, and then the model’ state equation is given. According to this equation, a simulation program for Multi-Particle model was completed in SIMULINK environment, and applied to Jiangnan Hotel Project, which had been shifted and reinforced through sliding isolation. This result proved its reliability and validity. This simulation method can also find its application in other active and passive controlling research of civil engineering.
