摘要:
分析了在CORBA音/视频流规范中所定义的一些标准的接口、策略和机制.介绍了东南大学计算机系研制开发的基于IntServ/RSVP的CORBA音/视频流服务的实现以及CORBA音/视频流服务在远程教育系统中的应用,并对CORBA音/视频流服务的性能进行了评测,测试表明,CORBA音/视频流服务能够满足实时多媒体流应用的QoS要求.
Abstract:
An introduction to the standard interfaces, policies and mechanisms defined by CORBA audio/video stream specification is presented and a prototype developed by Southeast University which conforms to that Specification is described. This prototype integrates IntServ/RSVP with Mbone tools(VIC, RAT), and it supports point-to-point and multicast real-time multimedia applications. Finally, an application of the prototype in the Remote Education System is introduced. Based on this application, the performance of the prototype was tested. The results show that it can meet the stringent QoS requirements of distributed real-time multimedia applications.
