Abstract:
A quantitative mathematics function about the relationships between the compressive strength of the concrete and the compositions of ternary blended binders of cement-pulverized slag powder-superfine class F fly ash was educed by means of simplex-centroid experimental design. The function can forecast the compressive strength of the concrete within a relative error of 5%. The iso-strength shape at different curing age demonstrates clearly that the contribution of the composition of blended binders to the compressive strength of the concrete is reducing in the order of cement, pulverized slag powder and superfine class F fly ash at 3 d and 28 d, but in the order of cement, superfine class F fly ash and pulverized slag powder at 180 d. The mutual complementarity effect of pulverized slag powder and superfine class F fly ash to the compressive strength of the concrete at early and later age is revealed obviously.
