Abstract:
The vibratory characteristics of the gyroscope were simulated and calculated with the finite element software ANSYS based on structure and work principle of a micromechanical resonant gyroscope. The natural frequencies in drive mode and sense mode of gyroscope were calculated, the relation between displacement, Coriolis force in sense-direction and frequency of input-exciting force were analyzed, the result is that output Coriolis force is more when the drive mode natural frequency is closer to the sense mode natural frequency. The parameters of gyroscope beams influence on natural frequencies in drive mode and sense mode were analyzed, a method for adjusting the natural frequency difference between drive mode and sense mode was proposed.
