摘要:
提出了一种基于LOOP细分规则的NC精加工刀轨生成算法,该算法将细分曲面应用于CAD/CAM系统,适用于任意拓扑的三角网格模型; 通过控制曲面等距误差来生成满足给定精度要求的NC刀轨.其核心思想是:首先计算LOOP细分曲面控制顶点的极限点和法矢量,然后从极限点开始,沿其法矢方向以球头刀的半径长度按照给定精度向外等距,获得等距曲面,最后在等距曲面上生成精加工数控刀轨.实例表明该算法稳定、高效、误差小.
Abstract:
Based on the LOOP subdivision scheme, a new approach to generate NC accuracy cutting tool path from a surface is presented. Our algorithm applies a subdivision surface to CAD/CAM system,adapts to an arbitrary topology triangle model and produces NC cutting tool path with given precision by controlling the offset surface error.By using the limit points, the normal vectors of these points from subdivision surface mesh and the radio of the ball end milling cutter, an offset surface with controlling accuracy is produced, then an accurate cutting tool path from the offset subdivision surface is generated. Practical examples are given to show stability, high efficiency and low error of the algorithm.
