摘要:
首先简单介绍了一种扩展的层次移动IP协议(eHMIP).在此基础上,以注册信令开销、切换分组丢失延迟以及分组传输延迟为性能评价指标,分别对移动IP和基于eHMIP协议的移动管理方案进行性能分析和比较.实验结果表明:移动管理协议的性能与移动主机到家乡网络的距离及微观移动域的范围密切相关.据此,提出一种自适应的移动管理方案,在满足应用QoS(quality of service)需求的前提下,提高了网络资源的利用率.
Abstract:
An extended hierarchical mobile IP protocol(eHMIP)is introduced, which can reduce inter-domain handoff delay. Registration signaling overhead, handoff packet loss delay and packet transmission delay are used as the metrics of performance evaluation to analyze and compare the performance of mobile IP and eHMIP-based mobility management scheme. Experimental results show that the performance of mobility management protocols is closely related to the distance between mobile host and home network as well as the range of micro-mobility domain. According to the experimental results, an adaptive mobile management scheme is proposed, which can satisfy application’s QoS(quality of service), and get better resource utilization at the same time.
