摘要:
利用主观视觉实验研究了色彩度、亮度、对比度和清晰度的人眼可察觉变化步长(JND).与以往JND研究不同,针对视频显示应用,研究了在一般观测条件下,人眼观测自然图片时上述4种图像质量影响因素的JND值.主观视觉实验采用两两对比的方法.利用统计分析计算了上述因素在不同变化步长下与原图差异的Z值,并进一步分析了不同变化步长与原图的差异是否满足假设前提.实验结果表明,对于自然图片,上述4种因素的JND值高于文献中采用规则测试图片获得的结果.利用实验结果可以将色彩度、亮度、对比度和清晰度等因素进行归一化和量化,从而建立包含上述4种因素的图像质量模型.
Abstract:
The just noticeable differences of colorfulness, brightness, contrast and sharpness are studied based on subjective visual perception experiment. Unlike the common just noticeable difference(JND)study, the JNDs on natural image content by human eyes under general viewing conditions are evaluated. Paired comparison method is used for subjective visual experiment. The Z scores of different steps for each attribute are calculated and the statistical significance of the difference between each step and the original image content are also analyzed. The results indicate that when using natural image content the just noticeable differences are considerably higher than what is reported in literature for homogeneously colored patches. The deduced just noticeable difference on natural image content can be used to normalize these four attributes and to further explore the image quality model.
