Abstract:
In order to effectively reduce noise pollution in highway tunnels and improve the economic effect of noise reduction, design optimization for reducing noise is studied from the angle of sound transmission route. The comparison between the measurement and the prediction of the modified coherent model and the incoherent model is carried out in a scale model of one tenth, and the results indicate that the modified coherent model can accurately predict the traffic noise transmission in long enclosure. Researches on different patterns, locations and amounts of the absorption materials indicate that continuous collocation absorption materials in long enclosure are required but the location is unrestricted. An amount of 70% coverage, instead of 100%, along the ground and one of the vertical wall is enough to achieve preferable effect. The research provides a theoretical basis for improving noise reduction effect and saving construction materials inside highway tunnels.
