摘要:
以飞高为3.5nm的皮米磁头为研究对象,采用有限控制体法和三阶Runge-Kutta方法,求解磁头的雷诺方程和运动学方程.得出磁头飞跃盘面凸起障碍过程中头盘间分子间作用力对其飞行姿态的影响,并对磁头磁盘界面进行时域分析.模拟结果表明:超低飞高情况下,磁头飞跃盘面凸起障碍时,分子间作用力破坏了磁头动态飞行稳定性,它是引起头盘界面失效的一个重要因素.在此基础上,提出了降低分子间作用力的方法,如合理设计头盘界面几何参数以适当减小磁头尾部凸缘的面积,或者提高磁盘的表面质量以降低磁盘面的不平整度.以上措施都可以有效降低分子间作用力的不利影响,提高头盘界面稳定性.
Abstract:
The Reynolds lubrication and motion equations of a pico slider with a fly height of 3.5 nm is resolved by using the finite control volume method and the third-order Runge-Kutta method. The influence of intermolecular forces on the flying attitude of the slider when it flies over a rectangular step on the disk is studied, and time-domain analysis of the interface between the slider and disk is conducted. Simulation results show that the dynamic flight stability of the slider is destroyed by intermolecular forces between the slider and the disk when the slider flies over a rectangular step on the disk in a system with an ultra-low flying height, which is an important factor in causing interface failures between the slider and the disk. Furthermore, approaches to reducing intermolecular forces are proposed, such as rationally designing the geometric parameters of the slider to reduce the area of the rear pad of the slider, and improving the surface evenness of the disk, which can further improve the stability of the interface between the slider and the disk.
