Abstract:
GSQ24 shell element is used in analysis of combination of plates and shells,beam and three-dimentional solid structures.On joint boundary of different types of elements,equations of geometric restrictions,formed by displacement conforming,are introduced to the GSQ24 shell element stiffness matrices and load vectors directly,and corresponding FEM formulae are given.The results of numerical examples show that the present method is feasible and versatile.
